Nisa Marks is a proven leader passionate about organizational strategy, public policy, and the environment.

As the Board Chair of New Hampshire Audubon, Nisa guided the organization through setting strategic priorities and planning for the first major fundraising campaign in a decade. She has worked with stakeholders from non-profits, state and federal governments, and the private sector on projects to improve water quality, protect endangered species, and lobby for protective legislation. A former employee of US Fish and Wildlife Service and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Nisa brings technical expertise in water quality, ecology, organizational management, and good governance.

 

Nisa has a BS in Biology from Yale University and an MLA in Government from Harvard University's Extension School. She has previously worked as a biologist, in politics, and as a community organizer. Across all of her work, she focuses on effective communication and transformational change. ​​
